We hereby invite you to the collective exhibition TraumaTrauma of B.A.D. Basisgruppe angemessener Dilettantismus is an emerging artist group based in Vienna, Austria.
Their team is made up of international creatives and academic researchers who share an interdisciplinary discourse with a love for new media art.
Founded as an art collective in 2017, their artistic approach comprises fine-digital-interactive and immersive art with high tech.
Their work has been presented in international festivals and exhibitions. “As artists, it is our aim to challenge ourselves and explore new different perspectives in each creative process, collaboratively embracing our diversity in culture, experience and expertise in multiple fields."

Featuring:
Çağdaş Çeçen is a Vienna based media artist. He studied Media Art : Digital Art at University of Applied Arts Vienna and Physics at University of Vienna. Currently, his artistic practices focuses in the relationship between human movement, space and uncertainty. Since 2018 he is developing new ways of interaction between human and space by using synesthetic nature of Quantum Physics not just symbolic or inspirational way but as an active element in his artworks. He strongly believes that democratization of Quantum Physics will open new artistic ways to reexplore our surroundings and improving our synesthetic sensation. His projects have been already presented in several countries: Austria, Italy, Poland, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Conciliating with his artistic activity.
Laurus Edelbacher, born in 1990 in Melk, Lower Austria, completed the School of Sculpture in Hallstatt and studied at the Vienna Art School with Michael Kargl and Christoph Nebel in the Interdisciplinary Media Class and at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in the Digital Art class under Ruth Schnell. Laurus Edelbacher lives and works in Vienna and www. He is a board member of the Fabrikraum art association. His works have been navigating both nationally and internationally through browser windows, exhibition spaces, and artistic research.
Magdalena Marie Friedl, alias magdimus, lebt und arbeitet in Wien, dem Burgenland und dem Internet. Ihre künstlerische Praxis bewegt sich zwischen Installation, Robotik, Video und Meme Culture. Sie absolvierte das Studium der Digitalen Kunst an der Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien in der Klasse von Ruth Schnell.
